My ASUS laptop developed a fault where it would just load up the BIOS screen and advise hard drive not detected.  I took it to different repair shops  who advised  hard  drive needed replacing or they wanted £100 just to run  a diagnostic.  Repair costs estimates ranged from £155 - £300.  Cymar took it in and checked it for free.  They called me next day to advise it had been repaired at the fraction of the costs I had been previously quoted.  Actual issue was CPU fan not working due to dust build up .  So their competitors failed to even identify the correct issue.  Can’t thank them enough. After spending a fruitless weekend trying to transfer the old SSD C drive (which was full) to a new larger SSD drive, I took my laptop to Cymar and asked them if they could deal with the issue. The HHD was also playing up. Kevin fixed the SSD and and told me why the HHD wasn't working.
Whilst investigating these issues, he found a couple of other hardware problems which he resolved. The original quotation was for fixing the SSD drive and investigate the HHD issue. He fixed all of the problems yet only charged for the original task.
It's been a long time since I have experienced this level of service and for such a good price.
